Storie Garrity is using their (preferred pronoun) vibrational sound certification to better the community around them. A member of the LGBTQ community and a trauma survivor, Storie does a great deal of activism to ensure that their community has access to medical care, mental health care, and integrative health care.

Currently pursuing an MA in integrative health coaching through the online program at Maryland University of Integrative Health, Storie plans to use that degree to further the ways in which they support the community.

Involved with the Community Care Collective in Denver, they volunteer almost every month to provide treatment free of charge and enjoys seeing lives transformed by sound via that channel.

Storie took the Evergreen CO class in July 2017 to add to their other services: crystal healing, reiki, guided meditation, chromotherapy, aromatherapy, and mindfulness skills coaching. Once a month, they collaborate with friend Jan Ledgerwood of Inner Peace Wellness in Littleton for Yin & Yang, Tone & Tune to provide guided meditation, community style acupuncture, reiki, sound healing, and a tea ceremony.

They encourage others to get involved in sound therapy: "Go for it!" they explained. "You'll be setting yourself up for a rewarding career."

Thank you, Storie, for sharing yourself with our community of practitioners.
