The health and well being of our VSA community is our top priority.  It has always been our mission to support our practitioners however we can so that they manifest their skills in a professional and ethical manner.  We face many unknowns in the near future but we ask that you analyze your specific situation to support the health and well being of your local community..

What to do in your specific situation  with your clients and business may not be clear.  Every day Local governments, CDC, and Federal government recommend or impose stricter guidance to decrease the spread of COVID-19.  Below are helpful links to help you to keep unto date:

15 Days to Slow the Spread (Whitehouse)

There is a lot of information and opinions out there but what do we know?

COVID-19 is contagious prior to symptoms presenting.
The time between exposure and symptoms ranges from 2-14 days.
The virus can spread from person-to-person and from various surfaces and objects to a person.
The virus is spreading easily and sustainably in many communities in the U.S. and abroad.

Should you continue to offer private or group sound sessions?

VSA does not have any authority to halt your practice or to make decisions for your business.  However, we strongly recommend that all VSA practitioners should be part of the solution and do no harm.  At this point in time this means limiting contact one on one or in groups to only which is necessary.  We believe the best way for you to contribute to the solution is by supporting the recent federal guidelines as outlined in the 15 Days to Slow the Spread (Whitehouse) initiative through at least March 31.

Please know we fully understand how difficult this decision may be and we look forward to supporting the VSA community during this time.  Your health and the health of our community is our top priority. We’re here for you, and we will get through this tough time together.
