Daily Schedule for Thailand (Subject to final changes)
November 10 Fly from the USA to Chiang Mai, Thailand (CNX)
November 11 Arrive in Chiang Mai- and welcomed by a VSA agent in Thailand. They will meet you and bring you to your transportation to the hotel. Meals are not included on this day.
November 12 Jet lag day- Choose from private/trusted a la carte activities and tours for additional fees or simply wander around, make it a spa day, or relax by the pool. Breakfast included at the hotel. Welcome dinner and meet and greet included for all included at the hotel.
November 13 Learn about Thai meditation on a local temple tour and go shopping for handicrafts from local artisans- Breakfast included at the hotel and lunch included on tour.
November 14 Elephant care taker for a day- Learn all about Thai elephants including diet, history in Thailand, and daily care. You will have a chance to feed, brush, bathe with, and walk with or ride your elephant. Double occupancy will share an elephant and single occupancy will have their own elephant for the day. Breakfast included at the hotel and lunch included on tour.
November 15 Elephant Sound Therapy- Learn all about Thai elephant sound therapy. Learn about how elephants are helped with sound and vibration. Work directly with elephants with singing bowls. Breakfast included at the hotel and lunch included on tour.
November 16 Travel to Chiang Rai by private transportation- Relaxing 4 hour private travel to Chiang Rai including a stop at the hot springs. Breakfast included at the hotel and lunch included on the way to Chiang Rai.
November 17 Visit the White Temple, Blue Temple, and a tour of Chiang Rai- Breakfast included at the hotel and lunch included on tour.
November 18 Houseboat relaxing on the river- Spend the day relaxing on a private houseboat on the river in beautiful Northern Thailand. Spend the night in a peaceful hotel in a natural setting.
November 19 Chaing Rai relax day- Choose from private/trusted a la carte activities and tours for additional fees or simply wander around, make it a spa day, or relax by the pool. Breakfast included at the hotel.
November 20 Travel to Chiang Mai by private transportation- Relaxing 4 hour private travel to Chiang Mai. A stop will be made to visit Hill Tribe children. We ask each participant to bring $150 cash to help send a child to school for the year. This will be a memorable experience and a way to give back to Thailand and you will be able to take a photo with each child you send to school. Breakfast included at the hotel and Lunch Included on the way to Chiang Mai.
November 21 Elephant Sound Therapy Part Two- Return to the elephants and learn more about Thai elephant sound therapy. Learn about how elephants are helped with sound and vibration. Work directly with elephants with singing bowls. Breakfast included at the hotel and Lunch Included on tour.
November 22 Travel back to USA- Private transportation included back to the Chiang Mai Airport
What’s included?
-All 11 night 4-5 Star hotel accommodations are included in package prices
-Gourmet international breakfast included daily at the hotels.
-Most lunches are included. Lunches are included on all tour, travel, and elephant days (8 total) (Lunches can range from $2-$3 for local food or 5 star Restaurants for $20+ and everything in between.)
-Two dinners are included at the hotel on the first full day and last full day in Chiang Mai for the last night. (Dinners can range from $2-$3 for local food or 5 star Restaurants for $30+ and everything in between.)
-All guides and transportation for all scheduled events are included. All scheduled events fees are included such as admission fees and taxes.
-Round Trip private transportation to and from the airport and the hotel
-Round Trip private ground transportation from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai is included.
***Airfare from the USA is not included but we can assist you in finding flights for $100 booking fee. Economy Tickets this time of year cost $1000-$2000 depending on schedule and airports if you book early. Business/First tickets cost $6000-$9000 depending on schedule and airports if you book early. We suggest you book your air tickets 3-6 months in advance.
Total Trip Cost per person:
Double Occupancy $4288 per person Share a hotel room with someone you know or the VSA will provide you a list of others looking for a roommate (We can not guarantee a roommate and have no control if one cancels. If your roommate cancels or any issues arise, then you must purchase single occupancy). Each room will have 2 beds and share a bathroom.
Single Occupancy $5288 per person A private hotel room during your entire trip to Thailand.
Payments:
A $500 deposit must be made to reserve your spot. An additional $1000 payment is due December 15, 2023, additional $1000 payment is due February 29, 2024, additional $1000 payment is due April 30, 2024, and Final balance is due by May 31, 2024.
Due to our costs for hotel, travel, and tours all deposits are nonrefundable after March 31, 2024. Payments paid are non-refundable after May 31, 2024. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover costs if you are unable to make the tour.
